Which Layer Height Should You Use?
A quick starting point based on nozzle diameter and the type of part you want to print.
Starting recommendation0.20 mm
Useful working range0.10–0.28 mm
Rule of thumb, not a hard limit: many profiles work roughly between 25% and 70% of nozzle diameter. Geometry, overhangs, material and the desired surface finish can justify a different choice.
